From the stage to your television, is there anywhere you won’t be seeing the multitalented songstress Olivia? I chatted with her about why she’s leaving reality TV behind and trading in her microphone for a script.
From
watching you on Love & Hip Hop, it seemed that the one of the
biggest critiques from fans was you not opening up about your personal
life. As an artist how do you find that balance between being in the
public eye but at the same time having your personal time?
Olivia:
Well, I absolutely don’t agree with that statement because there are a
lot of your favorite artists that don’t open up about their personal
life, so I don’t think that one has to do with the other. Just because
you don’t know what’s going on in my personal life doesn't mean that
you’re going to buy a record. I think that’s absolutely stupid. As long
as you put out good music and you can relate to them on those levels,
they’re still going to buy your stuff.
