Trey Songz - Is back with a more mature grown-man SWAG album.

Trey Songz returns with "Passion, Pain, & Pleasure".  This senior year album has chart toppings songs already such as, the albums first single "Bottoms Up" feat: Nikki Minaj.   After a incredible junior album "Ready" & opening up around the country for Hip Hop royalty Jay-Z.  Trey Songz  fourth album "Passion, Pain, & Pleasure" has Trey Songz no longer looking as an underdog, taking full advantage of being R&B's #1 Artist in 2009.  Trey Songz hopes to maintain that title, closing out 2010, with Drake & Usher both having very strong years on his tail.

It is looking like Trey Songz may have done it again! With a mature mixture of songs on "Pain, Passion & Pleasure" this album divides up into 3 different emotions & creates Classic records.   Such songs as "Can't Be Friends"(Pain), "Doorbell"(Passion) & "Unfortunate"(Pleasure).   Trey Songz also teams up with "Young Money" Little Wayane's artist Drake on "Unusual" which is more of a uptempo record compared to the well known "Successful" from Ready".

Some of Trey's songs were leaked on to the internet, which Trey gave a little acknowledgment to the leaks by saying “Shout out to everybody who didn’t listen to the leaks,” he said. But the singer brushed off the premature release of some of his tracks, adding, “Bootleggers gotta eat. I ain’t mad at y’all boys.”

What separates Trey Songz as one of the music industry top recording artist is his ability to gauge his audience then create a perfect balance of party anthems that listeners can enjoy listening to like "Alone" to bedroom songs such as "Love Faces" "Please Return My Call" a "Blue Magic" inspired song  & "Panty Droppa" (Full Version as a iTunes Bonus).

According to the early estimates Songz’s “Passion, Pain and Pleasure” album is expected to sell between 230,000 & 250,000 units in its first week of release. This is a big leap forward for the “I Gotta Make It” singer whose last CD and best selling release yet, 2009′s “Ready” only sold 131,000 copies in its debut week.

This album“Passion, Pain and Pleasure” mark's a mature transition in Songz’s career. This is probably to date Trey Songz most complete work so far, it showcases a lot growth & definitely more maturity.  The production & vocals here is stellar.   Lyrically the album isn't groundbreaking but can always improve on a fifth album.  I do feel it is safe for me to say, this young star in the making Trey Songz has a very bright future in this industry.
